The basics about me are easy – mother, daughter, friend, and (as of August 2011) an ex-wife. After that, it gets complicated.

I’m a worker-bee, ambitious, goal-oriented, intense, stubborn, opinionated, introverted, and lacking in confidence.

I made the biggest decision of my life when I decided to ask my husband of nearly 9 years for a divorce. That was February 13, 2011. I’m working hard to figure out who I am as a single woman and mom. I feel like I’ve been hibernating for years and am just now waking up.

I decided to start blogging as a way to “talk it out” and figure myself out. I don’t really know what direction this blog will take. All I can say is you better hang on ’cause I bet it’s going to be a wild ride!
